Allison's Journal -::- One year ago I found out I was pregnant!

A year ago today I was feeling pretty exhausted. I had just started school at Northwest, was working, and being a house wife ;D I had just started a new medicine for anxiety (go figure) and the doc said it would probably make me tired. Well I was getting 12 hours of sleep and waking up exhausted...it was the weirdest feeling!
When I read that test and it said Pregnant, wow what a feeling! I wish I could describe it. But I really started to behave myself after I found out I was pregnant. Boy when you don't know and then you find out and then you look back and say AHHH 2 days before I was lifting tons of stuff or running around like crazy or dancing in my case but WOW!
The weird hormones started early on with me! I remember thinking that the pregnancy test which are 99.9% accurate were lying to me. I told the doctor I was not pregnant, I told her I confirmed it 3 times but ya know no baby. She laughed and she said you sound like a couple of women I have been talking to lately lol. The amazing feeling of seeing the heart beat of your baby for the first time! It was overwhelming and amazing. For me my self esteem has always been low- but knowing I was creating someone, my body creating another person- I was fulfilling something! I could actually do this! Now that I hold Colin I think about all I had accomplished in 9 months with God's help of course ;)
Right now Colin is talking up a storm- he mimics me sometimes when we talk to each other. The other day he was talking and he said Mama....I laughed and said wow I can't wait until you mean it and know what you are saying- I know he was just talking and it sounded like mama. But then I told Lavonne about it and she said he also said Mama for her too. So fun!
Well I really enjoyed being pregnant and I miss it. I am so reading for baby no 2! I know that is crazy but I miss Colin's smallness. He's a big boy! He is about 17 1/2 pounds!
Now October 1, a year later, I am sitting at home studying for 2 tests I have tomorrow and Colin is at Gma's. I am still getting use to taking him to Gma's for the day. I miss him so much, and I am counting down until I go and pick him up. He is such a good boy. I love my little boy he is so precious and he is so handsome like his daddy. I am so happy he has my eyes, I am hoping they turn green because green is so beautiful for eyes!
